Using business-centric examples, this session shows how to design service desk metrics and reports that illustrate the benefits of an integrated approach. The importance of setting expectations about the impact of process improvements on performance metrics, employee morale and customer satisfaction is also discussed.

ITSM Academy's First Certified ScrumMaster� (CSM) Course
ITSM Academy has partnered with Winnow Management to deliver Certified ScrumMaster Training, and delivered it's first class on March 17 in Fort Lauderdale.  

One learner had this to say about the course: "I appreciated the instructor's depth of knowledge and background on the subject.  I also was able to benefit from the way the exercises were woven into the learning tracks.  It brought life to the material that was covered.

The Team here at ITSM Academy is excited to introduce a new member of our team to you.   

Manny Varela is a 30 year veteran of the computer industry, having worked as a technician, network engineer, software developer and consultant, project manager, sales executive, and VP of Information Technology.  His specialties include manufacturing software, process flow analysis and data conversion; and has developed more than a dozen ERP software applications.  Manny has joined ITSM Academy as Practice Manager, and worked previously with a leading national IT firm.  He spends his spare time raising his daughter, riding his Harley, boating, and rocking the stage with his band.

 

He is looking forward to helping you achieve all your IT Service Management goals.

New On Campus

We have been working (tirelessly!) on our newest Line of Training - Agile Service Management�, and are continuing to add new courses to our portfolio.  We are thrilled to announce the following courses:

  • DevOps Overview - 4 hour virtual class, introducing concepts of DevOps.  July 10, virtual classroom.
  • DevOps Fundamentals - 2 day certification course, this course provides attendees the ability to formulate a high-level strategy and action plan for adopting DevOps in their organization. August 25-28 and December 2-5, virtual classroom.
  • Certified ScrumMaster - 2 day certification course, which we are delivering in partnership with a leading Rep of the Scrum Alliance.  August 4-5 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
  • Agile Service Management: Applying Scrum to Process Design - 5 hour virtual class. Coming soon.
