It's not very often a speaker panel becomes a therapy session for the audience, but it appears to have done so at the Alumnae Association Women in Leadership event held March 5, 2013. Three panelists, all from distinct backgrounds and industries, opened up with stories about their lives and experiences to an intimate group of 30 women, and the evening was a tremendous success.

  The Talk of Grade 11s     
On February 28, five alumnae provided informative, entertaining and personal stories about their various career paths.

As the 120 Grade 11 students were about to embark on an Extended Essay project, each panelist tied in the importance of research in their job responsibilities.

Humanitarian & Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist
As an expert in disaster recovery and resettlement, Dilnoor assesses the local and international response to catastrophes, including earthquakes, tsunamis and floods.

The program will include:
  • Our Remarkable Branksome, a special presentation by Principal Karen Jurjevich Murton.
  • A performance by soprano Lydia SKOURIDES'98. 
  • Interpretive and Persuasive Readings by Grade 11 students.
