God continues to pour His blessing out on us as we approach Dec 14th, the date a majority of churches will be hosting The Manger BuildWe are so close to our goal! We currently have 100 churches in 24 states and 2 provinces in Canada! That is well over 2000 men building mangers with their kids this Christmas! If you were not able to host this year, look at the map and find a church in your area and join their Manger Build so you will have some hands on experience for next year!
A Young Christmas
A Message of Encouragement from The Youngs

As we enter this season of hustle and bustle, we want to offer you a word of encouragement. Don't forget to take some time to be thankful for what God has given you this year. Make some plans to spend time with your friends and family.
Don't let the stress of gift shopping and wrapping up the year overshadow the joy of Christmas! We are glad that we got to share this year with you, and we look forward to what God will do in both your life and ours as we celebrate Christmas and begin a new year!

Sometimes Stacy and I get to the other side of Christmas and ask ourselves "Did we really honor and celebrate Jesus or did He get lost in the busyness of holiday celebrations?" Here are some ways we try to keep Christ in front of Christmas:

  • I try to initiate a conversations with Stacy and the kids to talk about how our family can have a Kingdom Christmas. And then don't just talk, do!
  • Stacy and I always let the kids open one gift on Christmas Eve before bed and it is always a tool for personal spiritual growth; A new Bible, a special book, a book of devotions for their age or interest.
  • We always read the Christmas story from Luke 2 either on Christmas Eve or Christmas day.
  • We haven't always been great about serving others consistently, that's something we want to do better this year!

Why Men Hate Going To Church

"My men's group is hurting"

"I'm not sure where to go with our men's ministry"

"My men's group is dead!"

If this sounds like your men's ministry, HOW ABOUT TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENTThe definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different outcome".

Here is a great resource to start with:
"Why Men Hate Going to Church" by David Murrow.

In many churches there are more women engaged than men. Why is this? Where are the men?  According to David Murrow, "we have made church an overly, and overtly, feminine experience and are now reaping the dubious rewards of such efforts". Through three sections, Murrow makes the persuasive argument that we do have a problem, that it is a result of tailoring the church culture towards women, and that we can do something about it.

Here are a couple of ideas you might consider:

  1. Have your leadership team read "Why Men Hate Going to Church." It will challenge your team.
  2. Contact us to set up a Battle Briefing with Noble Warriors. Let us engage, equip and encourage you.
