NCMM- Reload '13

On September 16-18 several hundred men who invest their lives in discipling other men will gather for the National Coalition of Ministries to Men Annual Conference in Washington, DC. I attended my first NCMM event in the fall of 2004. Noble Warriors was not even a thought for me - I just knew I needed to be there. I found clarity for my ministry call among the men of NCMM. About 6 months later, Noble Warriors was launched.  

 

I continue to delight in the encouragement, challenges, and fellowship at these gatherings. Check out the lineup of Keynote Speakers for this year's event:

  • Barry Black - Chaplain for US Senate
  • Gerald Boykin - Retired General
  • Stephen Kendrick - Film Producer
  • Rod Hairston - Chaplain Baltimore Ravens

The Conference starts 2pm on Monday, September 16 and ends 11:30am on Wednesday, September 18.

Investments From Other Men...

Last weekend, Ben climbed Old Rag Mountain with two other young men and two mentors who have been discipling middle school boys at our church. They enjoyed great adventure and Ben came back with stories to tell. I'm thankful for other men who have invested in the spiritual growth of our sons!

The Surprising Way to a Stronger Marriage

First Things First of Greater Richmond presents the Surprising Way to a Stronger Marriage Conference, featuring Michael and Amy Smalley at Mechanicsville Christian Center on August 16-17.

Couples throughout the Central Virginia region can attend this Friday evening and Saturday morning seminar that inspires them to experience the kind of love and passion God desires for their relationship.

First Things Richmond Michael and Amy will cover the following topics:
