What You Need to Know About Wild American Ginseng

American ginseng is in the same genus as Chinese ginseng, and has many beneficial effects that Chinese ginseng has.

In Chinese Medicine, American ginseng is believed to help replenish the body's Qi, especially for the three Qi channels such as the heart channel, the lung channel and the kidney channel. Because of its mild quality, it is suitable for most people, and for all seasons.

Fee: Suggested donation of $60 to US-China Chan Cultural Exchange Association, for supporting of their Cancer Wellness Program.

US-China Chan Cultural Exchange Association (Chan Association) was founded on January 1^st, 2011 in Boston, MA. The Association's objective is to promote a healthy life style using wisdom from the Eastern cultures on how to balance body, mind and soul. Chan Association is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization recognized by IRS (EIN: 27-3926161). All donationsare tax-deductible in the U.S. to the extent allowed by law.

Cancer Wellness Program:

Since Oct. 2014, Chan Association has been in collaboration with Emerson Hospital's Health and Wellness Center (Concord, MA) to provide free healthy living classes, such as yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, meditation, etc. to low income cancer patients. Thanks to our donors' support, we have provided classes to 8 patients so far. One of them has taken Tai Chi classes for over a year, and has seen great results. There are many patients who could benefit from this program with your support!
