LING ZHI: THE KING OF HERBS
|
The secret to true success is good health. Most people are aware that regular exercise, a good diet and a healthy lifestyle can help prevent illness. But what about ancient herbal remedies?
While there are more and more studies on the use of herbs, modern medicine has yet to fully embrace them. Gradually, people in the U.S. are learning more and herbal products are becoming more popular.
Ling Zhi is widely revered in China as a valuable health supplement and herbal medicine and has been used for more than 4,000 years.
"There are two primary beneficial components found in Ling Zhi," according to Dr. Ming Wu, doctor of Chinese medicine and founder of Wu Healing Center. "Germanium can promote blood circulation and increase oxygen absorbtion. Polysaccharides can improve the immune system."
In Chinese Medicine, Dr. Wu says that Ling Zhi is used for "a broad range of symptoms and conditions, such as to nourish the heart and strengthen the qi and blood, strengthen the respiratory system, strengthen the immune system, improve metabolism and lower cholesterol."
