Number one important question:
Who Am I?

ZhengThe way to find out "Who I Am" is to do silent meditation daily.

  Most Important Question..."Who Am I?"

The way to find out "Who I Am" is to do silent meditation daily and ask "Who am I?"

The number one question to ask yourself: "Who am I." Once this question is clarified, the answer can serve as a guide, orienting us in our work and everyday living, enhancing one's self-worth, and rapidly identifying a life purpose.
On September 21, 2012, I did a telephone survey asking 20 participants "What is the most important question in your life?"
These 20 individuals were divided evenly into the following groups:
  • American White men (5)
  • Asian-American men (5)
  • American White women (5)
  • Asian-American women (5)

Amazingly, only three people agreed that "Who am I" is the most important question we should clarify. These three were in the following categories:

  • Asian woman (24 years old residing Beijing, China)
  • American White woman (50 years old living in Connecticut)
  • Asian-American man (Korean-American age around 40 living in Boston)
This statistic of only 15% of the test group acknowledging the importance of self knowledge needs to be improved!

I have experimented with a method that so far is giving VERY positive results. Asking the patient to constantly pose the question to oneself ("Who am I?") is showing that there is a tendency to release blocks, cure disease and promote ideal health when one focuses on this question together with a daily practice of silent meditation.

I don't have full results yet for this experiment and am hoping you will join me in exploring the positive effects the pursuit of self knowledge has on healing and overall health!
