Staines Town v Welling United
Blue Square Bet South
Wheatsheaf Park
Tuesday 9th April 2013
KO 7.45pm
|
From Swans Chairman Matthew Boon through to the fans on the terraces Wheatsheaf Park has a real buzz about it as the Swans have just faced 4 games in 8 days and won three of them scoring 14 goals in the process. Saturdays defeat at the hands of 9th placed Farnborough will have done little to dent the positive feeling and the on field performances as the tiredness of playing so many games began to show.
 | Staines v Farnborough highlights |
League Leaders, Welling United, come to Wheatsheaf Park tomorrow evening [Tuesday] on the back of a slight wobble at Salisbury on Saturday with a 2-1 loss. Prior to this they too have 3 wins in the bounce. Over the last 8 Blue Square games The Wings have taken 16 points and The Swans 13, not much to split the form guide there but the Swans have the added incentive of securing the Middlesex Cup last week and scored a 'magnificent' seven on Thursday evening.
 | Staines Town v Hayes & Yeading Utd - 4th April 2013 |
With Hayes & Yeading winning Sunday's six pointer against Tonbridge Angels the Blue Square South could not be more tight and in the words of Matt Boon, every game is a Cup Final now with only 4 points separating 14th and 20th placed teams. Don't you just love non-league football!
