THE POWER OF ADVOCACY

HOME funds are still in danger of being cut drastically. What would that realistically look like in the state of Maryland? The Senate's proposed 93% cut would result in a $11,210,086 loss in HOME funds. HOME funds have helped Habitat for Humanity affiliates reach the communities with the most need; whether urban, suburban or rural, HOME exclusively funds work for the poorest families across the country, including veterans and persons with disabilities.

Please use your voice today by sending a message to your federal lawmakers, then encourage your friends and family to do the same. We need advocates like you to help Congress understand the importance of HOME.

7TH ANNUAL BENEFIT BREAKFAST

Mark your calendars! HFHMM's 7th Annual Benefit Breakfast will be held October 30, 2015 at the Pooks Hill Marriott in Bethesda, MD from 7am - 9am.

HFHMM's Annual Affordable Housing Benefit Breakfast is one of our organization's major fundraising events. Held at Bethesda Marriott on Pooks Hill Road, the Benefit Breakfast brings together business professionals and elected officials from the local community.
