WOMEN BUILD EVENT IN BETHESDA

The snow is starting to melt and we have rescheduled our Women Build event!

Come out and celebrate the beginning of Spring with Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland Women Build! As the ice melts and we begin to put away our winter clothes, we sometimes notice we need an update from last year's fashions. Join us on March 29th at Etcetera in Bethesda to get some great ideas for your new Spring wardrobe! Light refreshments provided.

ReSTORE SILVER SPRING WOMEN BUILD EVENT

Our Women Build program is partnering with our Silver Spring ReStore for a DIY workshop and demo.

Date: April 8, 2015

Time: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

We are partnering with East Coast Upcyclers for a demonstration of how you can turn anything you can find in the ReStore into an in-home treasure.

HFHMM's INTERNATIONAL IMPACT

El Salvador

HFHMM is planning another trip to El Barrial, El Salvador from July 25th through August 2nd to promote affordable housing internationally. Through a partnership, HFHMM committed to a long term project in this community to improve the lives of residents.

Volunteers dedicate a week of their time to build a simple, decent, affordable home for a deserving family in the community.

It is through your support that HFHMM is able to continue its support of this initiative. HFHMM tithes 10% of its unrestricted funding to help build homes internationally.

Through this project, HFHMM helps your dollar go further by not only providing affordable housing initiatives domestically, but also internationally.
