Call for Volunteers
Dear congregation of Emmanuel,

I, Mary Terry, am heading up a mission with KRM and am looking for a participants. The Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc. (KRM), a non-profit organization, helps refugees in various ways. I have included their mission, plus some web links for your information.  I would like for Emmanuel to set up an apartment for a refugee family. I have attached the set up information for your reading pleasure. As you look over the process I am sure you will agree it is a big undertaking.  I'm trying to gather as many Emmanuel volunteers as possible and am hoping we can enlist one or two other churches to make the process a little easier. I have volunteered to oversee the entire project and promise to make it as easy on you as possible.

I am meeting with the KRM coordinator later this week to get all the details. Part of setting up an apartment is setting up a kitchen. I have partnered with pampered chef to set up a "party" more like supply order books and a wish list and website for electronic orders. If I can get another church or churches on board soon we could do the pampered chef orders in January which is the month they give double points. This would mean twice as much free stuff, so it is an excellent opportunity. Although I do understand the time frame is a little tight.

Please look over all the information and let me know if you are interested in joining this mission.  Also if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them.

Thank you for considering this opportunity,
Mary Terry
