Mt. Zion Progressive has been asked to join other faith based organizations in this years AIDS Walk Tampa Bay. According to the US census, the Tampa Bay area ranks 16th out of the top 25 cities in the country with HIV infections. Florida had 5 cities on the list.

By walking, donating or volunteering this year, you will help to provide much-needed resources to the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas (ASAP), an HIV/AIDS organization now supporting members across the entire bay area. With your amazing support, our Tampa Bay community can make a real difference to the many people impacted by HIV/AIDS in our area. The 11th Annual AIDS Walk Tampa Bay will be held at Vinoy Park in Downtown St. Petersburg on Saturday, September 6th. Check-in starts at 8:00 am, the Walk starts at 10:00 am.

Volunteer

We are in need of volunteers. If you are available to collect donations and register walkers on Sunday mornings during the month of August, greet walkers the day of the AIDSWalk at the Mt. Zion booth, or distribute water to walkers, please email tdarity@mzprogressive.org.
