| FSM Induction Ceremony |
Please note that this event was postponed due to inclement weather on January 22, 2016. It has been rescheduled for
Monday, February 1, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Impact Church (2323 Sylvan Road - East Point, GA 30344).
We would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to join us for our Induction Ceremony where we will be inducting scholars into the Funtumfunafu Society. To be inducted into this society, you must have a minimum GPA (Gold: 3.5, Silver: 3.0, Bronze: 2.0) and have paycheck totals in the top percentile range for Quarter 2. Invitations will be included in Tuesday Packets on January 19th for eligible scholars.
This is our 2nd Funtumfunafu Society Induction of the 2015- 2016 school year. It's an exciting honor for scholars and we are recognizing them for their incredible focus in school as it relates to character, scholarship, leadership and service. We have seen many examples of each of our Adinkras (school values) exhibited by scholars and hope you will join us in recognizing them on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Impact Church (2323 Sylvan Road - East Point, GA 30344).

| 7th Grade Village Update | |
Dear 7th Grade KVA Family,
It is with regret that I inform you that I will be leaving my position as the 7th grade science teacher on January 22, 2016.
As a founding KIPP Vision advisory council member and teacher, I have always given students 100% of my experience and attention to help them to excel in their education.
Over the years, I have taught some of your older children and it has been a very gratifying experience partnering with you these years in developing your young person.
I am confident that the next teacher will be able to nurture and develop their skills. I appreciate all of your support and well wishes during my time here.

Thank you to everyone who provided referrals for rising kindergarten and 5th grade scholars. If you were one of the 13 people that submitted a referral on or before January 20, 2015 at 11:59 p.m., please email Ms. Moon at krmoon@kippvisionacademy.org and include your name, your scholar's name and grade and the name of one of the scholars that you referred so that we can match the referrals to the correct KIPP Vision Campus family. Please email Ms. Moon by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2016. The raffle for those 13 families will be conducted on Friday morning and results will be announced via text. Thank you for your help!

Open House for New Families will be held on February 9, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the KIPP Vision Campus Auditorium. No invitation is needed to attend. This open house will be for new families interested in KIPP Vision Primary and KIPP Vision Academy.
