Family,
As we move into the Thanksgiving Holiday, there is so much for which I have to be thankful. I am thankful for dedicated and committed teachers who work tirelessly to ensure that all scholars learn. I am grateful for our bold, beautiful, fierce and fabulous scholars who love KVP and work diligently to grow their brains and to be on purple and green. Most of all, I am thankful for YOU, our parents. Thank you for believing in what we do, supporting our mission and ALWAYS being there when we call. This is truly OUR school and together we will empower our scholars with the academic skills, character tools and scholarly habits needed to take over the world.
As always, I appreciate you. Have an EXCELLENT and LOVE filled week!
With my whole heart,
Dr. Wheda A. Carletos, Ph.D.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Thank you for joining us for our first KVP Thanksgiving dinner. The student performances were wonderful and the dinner was delicious. Of course, seeing you sharing conversation and smiles with each other was what made the night special. We look forward to seeing you at our next event. To stay informed of future activities, be sure to read the bulletin, the homeroom webpages, and GroupMe notices. Also, remind other KVP parents to do the same.
A Busy December (Upcoming Field Trips)
December 2 - ALL scholars will attend Noah's Ark Zoo. This zoo is free to the public, but does accept donations. We are asking all parents to donate $1.00 for their scholar. Since the entire school will be going, including all teachers and support staff, we will not need parent chaperones for this trip, unless you have been requested to support your scholar. However, if you would like to attend, feel free to meet us at the zoo, 712 L.G. Griffin Road, Locust Grove, GA 30248. Departure times and details will be posted before the trip.
December 3 - All kindergarteners who have paid the annual fee will go to the Center for Puppetry Arts to see Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Details will be posted on the homeroom webpages.
December 8 - All 1st graders who have paid the annual fee will go the Horizon Theater to see Madeleine's Christmas. Details will be posted on the homeroom webpages.
December 10 - All 2nd graders who have paid the annual fee will go to the World of Coke. Details will be posted on the homeroom webpages.
All permission slips for the December trips are due on November 30. NO EXCEPTIONS.
