8th Grade Team and Family Updates |
Team and Family,
It is with regret that I inform you that I will be leaving my position as the 8th grade science teacher on November 9, 2015.
I have enjoyed teaching at KIPP Vision Academy and it has been both a rewarding and memorable experience. I have always given students 100% of my knowledge and attention to help them to excel in their education.
In this career, I have also learned a lot about myself. I realized that I made a great choice when I became a science teacher and an even better choice when I accepted the position at KIPP Vision Academy.
I appreciate the opportunity that was given to me. I know that someone will be hired with the same passion for knowledge and teaching that I have.
Best regards,
Tamika Pankey

Cans From Our Campus | This year, in an effort to help those in need, the KIPP Vision Academy Campus has partnered with the Atlanta Food Bank for the Cans from our Campus Fall Food Drive. The food drive has already kicked off for KIPP Vision Primary and KIPP Vision Academy will begin its food drive the week of November 2, 2015. Both food drives will conclude on Friday, November 20, 2015.
Please allow your big and little KIPPsters the opportunity to participate in this event by bringing cans and non-perishable items to school during the time period listed above. Scholars will place their items in bins that will be placed at the front entrance and throughout the school for both KIPP Vision Primary and KIPP Vision Academy. We thank you in advance for your participation and we look forward to our Cans from our Campus Food Drive being a HUGE success.

Service Learning Project
|
This past weekend, we were successful in completing our 1st Annual Make KVA neat, before you Trick or Treat service learning project. We are pleased to announce that there were scholars present from every grade level, as well as little KIPPsters from our primary school, at the event as we helped clean and brighten up the grounds of our amphitheater.
