Happy New Year!

2015 is finally here and with it comes an exciting year of new partnerships, projects and opportunities to build and strengthen vibrant neighborhoods across Columbus and Franklin County. This year the Collaborative is supporting the work of seven Community Development Corporations(CDCs), three of which are newly funded grantees. These CDCs include Central Ohio Housing Development Organization, Community Development for All People, Engage Community Development Corporation, Franklinton Development Association, Gertrude Wood Community Foundation, Greater Linden Community Development Corporation and Homes on the Hill Community Development Corporation.

Upcoming projects in 2015 will include the development of 58 units of  affordable work force housing on the South Side; building new homes in the American Addition neighborhood; beginning construction of  18 townhouses in Franklinton; rehabbing homes for rental in the Greater Linden area; engaging landlords and tenants through a new outreach program and rehabbing homes for rental in the Hilltop area; and constructing new homes in the Driving Park neighborhood.

The New Year has some truly great projects in store and the Collaborative looks forward to connecting with you!

Meetings will be held at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, 111 Liberty St., Suite 100 Columbus, OH. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot in spaces marked "M" or MORPC.
