Children's Grief Camp is May 1-3

Camp Aloha, our annual weekend grief camp of therapy and fun, gives children ages 6-17 the tools they need to cope with the loss of a loved one.

Held at the New Ebenezer Retreat Center in Rincon, camp is funded in large part by the generosity of the Kaminsky Automotive Group. Click here to view a video, complete a volunteer or camper application or contact the bereavement counselors at Full Circle (912.303.9442) for more details.
5 Common Myths of Hospice Care Debunked

Jacob Edward's article debunks such common myths as "Hospice places a time limit on patient stays and hastens death." It is an excellent read; please share with friends or family members who may still believe some of the myths we encounter every day!  As always, our referral center staff is here to help and to educate.

Vicariously Visiting Ossabaw

Many of us have had the privilege of visiting magical Ossabaw Island. But for those who haven't, you simply need to stop by our Hospice Savannah Art Gallery to see some of the beauty that awaits you.

Bryan Stovall and Les Wilkes' evocative photography show hangs until the end of this month. Read Allison Hersh's review here

Wish List

There are many ways to support Hospice Savannah, and our "Wish List" has items of all shapes and sizes!  Can you help by donating either beverages (bottled water, juice boxes, canned sodas and juice, instant beverages like cocoa, Crystal Light, etc.) for families visiting loved ones at Hospice House, or by donating small picture frames for our patients to keep photos of their loved ones close at hand? To fulfill a wish, please contact Jennifer in the Hospice Savannah Foundation at 912.629.1055. Thank you for helping us to help others!
