Doing the loving thing

Our thoughts turn to love during the month of Valentine's Day.

Mr. Robbins

Let us help your loved one regain or improve their quality of life.  If they are worn down by frequent trips to the emergency department or to doctors' offices, if they are tired of treatments, or if pain medications don't seem as effective as they used to be, it may be time for a free, confidential consultation.

Sometimes loving someone means getting them the help they need. Just call 355.2289 and ask for our Referral Department. We are here to help.
Planet Love

Baby HaydenThis month of love and roses can be difficult to endure if you are grieving the loss of a loved one. Everyone else seems to be on Planet Love, buying Valentines cards and chocolates, but you are living on Planet Loss, which can be a very lonely place.

Our Full Circle counselors are here to support children, teens and adults. Appointments can be made in Savannah, Rincon or Richmond Hill. If you are struggling to deal with a suicide or with the death of your loved one, please reach out for help. We're just a phone call away.

We loved Dr. Crane!

Dr. Crane at CandlerWe were honored to introduce Dr. Jonathan Crane at last month's 5th Annual Hospice Savannah Lecture Series. He spoke before four different audiences - including physicians, medical professionals, hospice employees and volunteers, and community members - at four different venues. Each talk was extremely well attended and provided lots of food for thought.

We thank our partners Dr. Martin Greenberg; St. Joseph/Candler Medical System; the Savannah Campus, Mercer University School of Medicine; Medical College of Georgia's Southeast Georgia Campus; and Bart, Meyer & Company for bringing him to Savannah.

Dr. Crane's last lecture focused on writing an ethical will - leaving a written legacy of your life and its lessons for your children and loved ones. It reminded us of the work we do through our Story Keeping program. Find out more about that here.
