Weekend Volunteer Training

Vol with flowersHas your life been touched by our care? If it has, you may want to join our wonderful group of volunteers who help lift the burden of stress and worry for caregivers of our terminally ill patients, and who provide companionship and support to our palliative care clients and to our patients. We are in particular need of Steward Companions and homecare volunteers in Effingham, Liberty and Bryan counties.

We will host special weekend training for individuals who would like to join our volunteer ranks on Saturday, February 2nd and Saturday, February 9th. Both sessions will be held at Hospice House and both sessions are required. Please apply on line or call Paula Hudson at 629.1331 for more information.
