Walk the walk. . . This is the first you’re hearing from us in a while as we took some time last spring to take our own advice. As the development of microelectronics stabilized -- the main focus for 30 years -- the shift toward high power applications has begun. Demand for thermal management -- including high temperature, high current and high frequency -- in smaller packages with more reliability through refining design is in full effect, and Electrocube is responding.
High Temperature Film Capacitors. . .
Earlier this year, Electrocube launched two new high temperature capacitor series -- Metallized Polyphenylene Sulfide and Metallized Polypropylene. The 340D and 980D series exhibit superior electrical characteristics over an extremely wide temperature range -- respectively with high frequency operation and high current operation.
But Electrocube didn’t stop there. . .
Turning up the heat. . .
As promised, Electrocube is proud to introduce Teflon® Film Capacitors -- Polytetrafluoroethylene & Foil and Metallized Polytetrafluoroethylene. Able to withstand temperatures from -55°C to +150°C without derating, the 433D and 463D series are made with polytetrafluoroethylene, high temperature outer wrapping and epoxy endfills using a proprietary manufacturing process. Electrocube’s Teflon® Film Capacitors work in extremely high temperature applications including avionics, wind generation, high power applications, down the hole exploration, turbines and more.
Teflon® is a registered trademark of the DuPont Company.
