Celebrate "Take Your Child to the Library Day"

Come to the Crisfield or Princess Anne Library on Saturday, February 2, 2013 to "Take Your Child to the Library Day." There will be activities all day including a teddy bear hunt, crafts, and a special story time at 2 pm. Also, checkout your favorite books, movies, and music. Don't have a library card? Fencing Demonstration
Fencing, also known as Olympic fencing to distinguish it from historical fencing, is an activity using bladed weapons. The sport of fencing is divided into three weapons: Foil, Sabre and Épée. Fencing is one of five sports which have been featured at every one of the modern Olympic Games. Coach Angela Herbert-Hodges, U.S. Champion and Olympic Competitor, leads her team in a fencing demonstration by the Salisbury Fencing Club.

Ballet Theater of Maryland performs Frontier: The War of 1812
Frontier: The War of 1812 is a live dance multimedia performance that captures the fiery independence of colonial America as it forges itself into a nation. This production is inspired by the letters of Dolly Madison and other significant women of the period and depicts major events of the war that shaped America's destiny. Tickets are $6.00 and are on sale now at all branches of the Worcester and Somerset County Libraries. This event is sponsored by the Worcester County Library Foundation, The Worcester County Arts Council, and the Somerset County Library.

Reflexology 101
Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet & hands which correspond to all of the glands, organs & parts of the body. Reflexology is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers to apply acupressure on these points to break up energy blockages and bring comfort and relaxation to the human spirit. This class is taught by Karen Relay, certified and licensed in the states of Maryland and Delaware.
