Bus Trip: Sight and Sound Millennium Theater & Hershey Farms Restaurant in Lancaster - Thursday, November 8 
Enjoy a performance of Jonah at the Sight and Sound Theater and then enjoy a Pennsylvania Dutch meal at the Hershey Farms Restaurant.  The show features brilliant stage performances, larger-than-life sets, and impressive special effects.  Buses will leave from behind the Post Office in Snow Hill at 7:30 am and from the Ocean Pines Library at 8:00 am.  Buses will stop at teh Delaware House going to and returning from Lancaster.  To reserve your spot, call 410-632-3970.  Ticket price, including show and dinner, is $110.00.
 
Journey Stories: A Museum on Main Street Exhibit 

The Mosely Gallery at UMES will be hosting "Journey Stories," a traveling Smithsonian exhibit from October 18 - November 30.  The exhibit includes accounts of immigrants coming to America, stories of families moving across the country in search of their own homestead or employment, and the harrowing journeys of Africans and Native Americans forced to move.  Related programming at the library is also planned - details below.

One of the most widely read books in the world, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho follows the story of a young shepherd on his journey to Egypt. This program is a companion to the Smithsonian exhibit being displayed at the Mosely Gallery at UMES.
