Leadership in the Valley Update #5

Next week we'll all be waking up each morning on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains, generally between 2500 and 3000 feet in elevation.  It's time to make final preparations to include getting food for the trek. Remember that all your trash for the week should fit in one gallon-size ziplock bag -- please bring such a container with you for your trash.

PLEASE MAKE FINAL COORDINATION NOW for your transportation to the trailhead on Sunday.

For those traveling from USNA Annapolis, contact:  Joerg Nommensen

For those traveling from II MEF Camp Lejeune, contact:  Pete 'Shady' Lane

Here's the extended  weather forecast.  Based on this forecast, we should expect to hike in a cold driving rain.  Adapt your gear list as necessary...

We look forward to hiking with each one of you!
