Dear Friends of Continental District,

Last night the voting members of the Continental District gathered for the District Annual Meeting and voted to approve the 2016 District Members at Large and District Chairman.

We are proud to announce and welcome Ed Tryon as the new District Chair. In his new role, Ed will lead the district committee and work alongside the District Commissioner to deliver the functions of program, finance, membership and unit service for the benefit of all units, volunteers and Scouts in our district. Ed is a father of two former Scouts and former Den Leader in Packs 591 and 170. We are excited to continue the great Scouting tradition that is Continental District as well as bring in more families to the adventure of Scouting.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ernie Scardecchio, our immediate past District Chair, who has graciously accepted the task of helping with service to Musser Scout Reservation at the behest of our Scout Executive. We wish him lots of luck in all his efforts Musser and in service to Scouting!
