How we are working to improved Resica Falls for this year.
Program News & Updates for 2016

We have added new programs and have made substantial improvements over the years. We wanted to let you know what we are excited for this year to make Resica Falls even better.

Let's all reconvene in 2016
ATVs at Resica Falls in 2016

This year we will be introducing the ATV safety training program at Resica Falls.  Scouts ages 14 and older will be able to complete the course designed by the ATV Safety Institute (ASI) and enjoy two trail rides. The week-long course, 80 minutes a day, will teach the rider main parts of the ATV, how to care for and maintain an ATV, and all rules of the road and operational techniques. Goggles, gloves, and helmets will be provided.  Scouts will need to wear long sleeves, long pants and shoes or boots that cover the ankle. There is an additional charge of $25 for this program. Registration for the 24 spots weekly will open on a first come first served basis on 4/30/2016 on Doubleknot.

The individuals do not need to attend with the Troop they can come as a small group and enjoy Resica Falls.  All we ask is that the Scouts make a presentation to your unit about Resica Falls when you are deciding your troop's destination next year.

Any Scout or adult who is 15 or older that is interested in becoming or re-certifying as a Red Cross Lifeguard at Resica Falls Scout Reservation can sign up now in Doubleknot.  The certification is valid for two years.
