The weather has been so nice out, it is reminiscent of summer! It is a good thing that it is not too far away. In this update there are some of the opportunities being offered this summer; but let us not forget about what you can do this winter!

2016 Pilgrimage and Encampment
Join the longest running Scout event in the World, 104
year running. Relive the Winter of 1776 through
interactive exhibits and winter camping, if you want to
make it the real Valley Forge experience. Space is limited
so sign up today.

Ice Fishing at Resica Falls
Planning out your Troops winter activities? Interested in Ice Fishing? If so then make sure you mark your calendar for the 2016 Ice Fishing dates. Ice Fishing will be offered the weekends of February 19-21 and February 26-28 at Resica Falls for $20 per person (max of 25 people).
To register or get the most up to date information please email the Camping Department at camping@colbsa.org** Dates for this program are all weather dependent. If you are worried about weather as it gets closer please check with the Camping Department.

Winter Camping
It might be getting cold outside but winter camping is heating up. If you are looking for a great place to camp this winter season, the Cradle of Liberty Council has two wonderful Scout Reservations that are open all year long. Make this winter an experience you and your scout will not forget.

2016 Camp Staff Application
Are you or someone you know looking to make a
difference in the lives of Scouts this Summer?
Camp Staff is the perfect place to help make a
difference in the lives of others, while getting a chance to
grow personally. Both Resica Falls and Musser Scout
Reservation are looking for dedicated youth and adults to
work on staff.
The minimum age requirements are 14-15 for CITs and
15 or older for paid positions.
Interviews will be conducted in January and February.To
be Considered for a position apply today.

Looking for a super summer? Join Captain Resica and our superheroes: Electron, Sure Shot, Firemaster, Wave, and the nature twins, Flora and Fauna for the adventure of a life time and take part in the great merit badge opportunities in the summer of 2016!

2016 Summer Camp at Musser
Join us at Musser Scout Reservation this summer for the
ultimate quest. Scouts will work to relight the Olympic
Torch by visiting the gods and goddesses of Ancient
Greece and learning how far they can build on their
new skills .

2016 Summer Community Day Camp
Day Camp is a wonderful week long opportunity for Cub
Scouts around the Council; that provides age-appropriate
games and activities every day! Throughout the
summer, there are numerous locations to provide a
variety of activities where no two weeks are alike.
Every summer there is a new theme for Cub Scouts to
experience and this years theme is the Cub Olympics!
