April 30th - Due date for all unsold cards and money from sold cards.  Please bring these to the Cradle of Liberty Scout Center if you do not turn them in at a Camp Card Exchange Location (see below) before that date.  Units are welcome to sell up until the 30th, as long as all money and unsold cards are returned by the 30th.  Close your invoice on time to avoid reduction in unit commission!

May 15th - Grand Prize (SUPER) Strive for 25 drawing! All entries received during the sale will be entered into this final drawing.  Eight prizes will be drawn ranging from $50 Amazon gift cards to 100% Camperships!

May 15th - same date as above.  This is the last day to register for the early bird rates at all Cradle of Liberty Camps!  Visit www.colbsa.org/camping for registration and more details.

Camp Card "Second Sale"

Based on the feedback and requests of several units, Cradle of Liberty Council is offering the option for units to participate in a "Second Sale" of Camp Cards, from April 17 up to June 15, 2015.

Units may participate at their discretion in order to continue to sell Camp Cards to reach their goals of support Scout summer camp attendance and other program needs.   Please note the following necessary arrangements:

  • Before participating in the second sale, units must close out all cards from the original sale by turning in all funds on cards sold and unsold cards.  This will best allow for cards to be available to all units that wish to participate in the second sale.   Restocking fees and reductions in commission for late payments still apply for the first sale.
  • A Unit must also complete a the Second Sale Sign Up form when they close out their original sale and start their second - this will help us to keep your units records correct.
  • Units are asked to take cards only as they outline in their sales plan, additional cards can be issued during the second sale  as needed so far as inventory allows.
  • Weekly Camp Card collection locations and the availability of SEPTA sales locations will continue to take place only through April 30th, as originally scheduled.
  •  Strive for 25 entries will still be accepted, but only for the grand prize drawing on May 15th.
  •  All payments and undamaged, unsold cards must be returned to the Cradle of Liberty Council by June 15th. Units doing so will be able to retain their 50% commission during the second sale.
  • Any questions on the second sale can be directed to campcards@colbsa.org

Exchange Locations

There are collection points throughout the Council where you can pick up more camp cards and turn in collected monies as well as Strive for 25 entries. Go wherever it's most convenient! These sites will be staffed weekly between 02/01/15 and 04/30/2014.

When you meet with a district volunteer or staff member, they will have a Card/Money Transfer Form to account for any transactions of cards, money, and Strive for 25 entries.
