FALL IN BOULDER COUNTY
Fall is associated with the element METAL, and is a time when nature moves out of the abundance of summer harvest, leaves become brilliantly colored, and then drop, reminding us to let go. It is also associated with grieving and problems with lungs and large intestine.
A time of reflection, and of self acceptance, we can rest in the cycle of the seasons.
As everything becomes bare, the seeds prepare to rest during the winter, gathering energy before Spring's great burst of energy comes around again.
We can allow ourselves to rest too, a respite from the endless doing and busyness.
Perhaps we can reflect on our own cycles of creation, fruition, and letting go - of the beginning, middle and ending of all things.
Looking back - SUMMER was a blast! What fun we have had in Bee Safe Boulder. All of Boulder County is becoming a safe haven for bees and other pollinators, thanks to the efforts of many.
We can have gratitude for the richness of our lives, of friends and family, of nature, of work, for our special teachers, for gardens and bees, for loving spiritual communities, encouraging words from friends and strangers, for the greater community that we live in, and the opportunity to serve the greater good.
Best wishes for a wonderful Fall. MOLLY
