PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Hello Evergreen Families-

We hope the summer is finishing well for you and you're enjoying the warm sunshine.  We are very excited to see you, whether in a few short days or in a few short weeks.

We are hosting our Back to Business Days on Tuesday from 12:00pm-7:00pm and Wednesday from 7:00am-2:00pm.  As I shared in an email last week, we know many families are still on vacation and there is no expectation you attend the Back to Business Days as the same activities will occur during the first week of school.  Whether you're on vacation or coming in to the building this week, we look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, September 1 for the first day of school.  As posted on our website under Announcements, we will have a staggered start with all 6th graders coming at 8:00am for WEB Activities and 7th and 8th grade students coming at 10:30am for the start of classes.

There are many exciting changes that have occurred at Evergreen this summer and we look forward to sharing them with you.  We have new staff, new portables, new construction projects, an increase in enrollment and new programs.  All of this information will be shared with you in future editions of the Eagle Express as well as on Tuesday, September 15 at Curriculum Night.

In the meantime, we hope the remaining days of sunshine are relaxing and refreshing, and we will see you soon with eager anticipation.

Take care and Go Eagles!

Robert Johnson

Principal
Evergreen Middle School

NEW FOR AUGUST - CHANGE YOUR CONTACT/EMERGENCY INFORMATION ONLINE!
Are you tired of filling out your contact information on the emergency form every year? Wouldn't it be nice to just review your students' information and submit changes online, at your convenience? This August, you will get your chance to do just that.  You will be able to log into Parent Access, click on Family Access, and verify your student's information. Make any needed changes then click submit and be done.  More information on the Online Student Information Verification process will be posted on the district website in July.

If you don't have a Parent Access account, now would be a good time to set one up.  Just go to the Parent Access Page on the district website for more information. Then you will be ready in August to take care of your emergency information online.
