Homeroom Volunteers Needed

As previously stated in an Eagle Express letter back in May, the EMS staff would like to utilize our wonderful volunteers in more ways this year.  One of those ways is during homeroom (2:05-2:30pm) on Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Fridays.  When the teachers are giving individual instruction, the volunteers would help supervise the rest of the class.  Other volunteers are needed to help in the hallways during homeroom and also with the parking situation at the end of the day (2:25-2:45pm).

Here are the guidelines:

- We are hoping to place volunteers in classrooms that do not include family members.
- Some teachers may not need an everyday volunteer, but specific days.  Teachers can work that out with volunteers.
- The preference would be to build an ongoing relationship between set volunteers and a given teacher, rather than a rotation.
- We would love additional help in hallways and/or with traffic flow support in our parking lot.  Sean/Anne would provide training.

With all that in mind, here are the areas where we need help:

Sam Bury -- French (111)
Kelsie Fowler -- Sci 6 (134)
Shevaun Hale -- Math 6 (P248) -- Mon. & Tues.
Susan Jackson -- SS 8 (P263)
Carolyn Kaiser -- LA 7 (110)  -- Only on Thursdays
Kyle McMurtry -- LA 7 (142)
Meghan Palmer -- Sci 6 (143)
Jason Steele -- Sci 8 (145)
Jean True -- Sci 7 (140)
Jan Wilson -- LA 6 (120)
