A Reminder from the Novato Sanitary District
Are you a business owner or own or manage a multi-family dwelling? If so, please be aware that as July 1, 2012, all businesses and public entities in the State of California that generate four cubic yards or more of waste per week and multi-family units of five or more are required to recycle.
This recent business and mult-family recycling requirement results from the passage of AB341, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by diverting commercial solid waste to recycling and expanding opportunities for additional recycling services and facilities in California.
For more information on this requirement, or on waste reduction programs, go to www.novatosan.com or call 415.892.1694. |
