State of the City: Strong and Poised to Prosper
Frankly Speaking with Michael Frank, City Manager

Rainbow

After the last few years of cuts, reductions, and uncertainty, we are starting to see the roots of recovery take hold. Job growth in Novato has grown faster than the rest of the county. Vacancy rates are declining for commercial property. Significant investment is occurring in our City. All of this occuring during the greatest recession of our time.

This is the time for hope and optimism. To recognize the many opportunities available to our City, and to stay informed and get involved in the local decision-making process that affects our daily lives.

In February, the City Council will consider economic development options for the long-term fiscal health of our City, and the City will present recommendations to maxmize the investment we are starting to see in our local economy. This is an important time to be engaged. Our Council meetings are televised and are available on our website, and for the latest news, follow us on Facebook or Twitter and sign-up for our e-notification service.

Great things are happening in Novato. Be part of it!

Editor's note: Hear the State of the City Address at City Hall on Feb. 5 at 8:15 a.m. It will be broadcasted live, and rebroadcasted, on Channel 27, and streamed live and available afterwards, on the City's website.
