Overnight Respite             December 2014

Due to the generosity of several donors, HOPe is able to offer FREE Overnight Respite ("ONR") (for children ages 8-21), with a maximum capacity of 10 children per night (boys and girls are served on separate dates). As expected, there has been tremendous response to this program by families in need of respite.  Attendance in our ONR program is dependent upon individual children's needs and available support staff.  HOPe may not be able to honor all requests for ONR service, however, we will work to meet the unique needs of every child. A complete intake packet is required BEFORE any child may attend ONR.  No child will be confirmed for ONR until we receive all of the necessary paperwork. Families may sign up for ONE overnight respite service per month, so that we may serve more families in need of this service.

All events are Saturday 4pm to 12pm on Sunday.  Advance Registration and confirmation of attendance is required, no walk-ins will be accepted. Please contact Kristen DeSisto, Children's Program Director at [email protected] or 508-205-0555 ext. 26.

Lori joined the House of Possibilities in 2010. She has been a Registered Nurse for 4 years. Lori has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Before joining our staff, she worked at Early Intervention, where she worked with families and children from birth to three years old with developmental delays and medical needs. Outside of work, Lori enjoys cross fit, running, yoga, and spending time with her family. Any child requiring medication while at ONR must submit the required medication order to Ms. Green for approval no later than the Monday preceding the service.
