Counting Blessings
It's funny how thanksgiving works. The more we focus on thanking God for who He is, what He has done for us, and who He is, the more our perspective is changed. Jesus prayed with thanksgiving; Paul prayed with thanksgiving, and he instructs us to pray with thanksgiving as we pour out our anxieties to God. Even when it is hard and thanksgiving comes slowly and haltingly, giving thanks renews our heart and mind. What and who are you thankful for today?
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.-Psalm 100:4-5
Prayer: LORD, You are good. Your love endures forever. Your faithfulness has reached through the generations to find me. Your faithfulness continues to shape my heart, my perspective, my life. I thank You, in Jesus' name, amen.

- Maybe consider inviting them for coffee or a meal to get to know one another better.
- Send a card, email or call just to see how their 4th day is going.
