2 Wheel Hand Cart

Save your back! Use a two wheel hand cart.

A hand truck, also known as a two wheeler, stack truck, trolley, trolley truck, sack barrow, sack truck, dolly, or bag barrow, is an L-shaped box-moving handcart with handles at one end, wheels at the base, with a small ledge to set objects on, flat against the floor when the hand-truck is upright. The objects to be moved are tilted forward, the ledge is inserted underneath them, and the objects allowed to tilt back and rest on the ledge. Then the truck and object are tilted backward until the weight is balanced over the large wheels, making otherwise bulky and heavy objects easier to move. It is a first-class lever.

Hand Truck Safety
Hand Truck Safety

Some hand trucks are equipped with stair climber wheels, which, as the name implies, are designed to go up and down stairs. Stair climber wheels can sometimes

be problematic when trying to turn on flat ground as four wheels in a fixed position will be in contact with the ground.

Hand trucks are fabricated from many different types of materials, tube steel, aluminum tube, aluminum extrusion and high impact plastics. Most commercial hand trucks that are used for beverage and food service deliveries are rugged and very light weight. They are usually designed from two extruded aluminum channel side rails and cast aluminum or magnesium parts.

Some of the options that may be considered are the types of wheels, stair climber, handle type and size of wheels.

Lift Truck Rentals GLC units - 5 reasons to rent

Lift Truck Rentals are highly cost effective

Before we start talking about rental forklifts, we should take pain to understand what a forklift is all about. A forklift, also known by the name of lift truck, is in fact a side loader or trailer loader.  Such trucks have become important tools and are frequently used by different industries, warehouses, manufacturing units and construction companies.  Although forklifts make up part of the tools of a warehouse or industrial unit, some plants do not own one and get one on lease or rent from a local dealership. Nowadays, there are different companies that provide forklifts on lease from any duration of time which is tentative according to the seasons. With regard to great demand for forklifts, lots of companies have started to offer Forklift rental services.   A lease company will provide a forklift on a lease. Many forklift companies will offer necessary repairs and services throughout the time of the lease agreement. Now the question arises, why should you choose the rental forklifts for your business? Five reasons are being cited below.

Flexibility - By taking a forklift on lease, you do not need to make a long-term plan. Many forklift hire agencies offer you the option for a lease from one day to even five years which allows you substantial flexibility to take forklift on lease for as long or as little as you like. It also means that as your business progresses and your requirements change, you can change the equipment accordingly.

  1. Highly cost effective- Getting your forklift on lease or rent is really highly cost effective way to run your business. With this, you do not need to spend profusely at once. Remember that the money which you spend on your lease is fully tax deductible.

  2. Variety - Forklift lease companies have heavy and bulky stock which range from pallet trucks to stackers and from electric to Gas systems. By taking forklift on lease you can have accessibility to large variety of equipment and so you get the option to change the equipment if it is inappropriate for you.

  3. Safety- Forklift lease companies comply with OH&S obligations. This means that you working place will be completely safe and secure. The equipment will be serviced fully. The company will provide you call specialists whom you can call in case of any breakdown. Thus, you have full safety.

  4. Chance to try before you purchase - If you make up your mind to buy the equipment, then by taking forklift on a lease you get the chance to try the equipment. If the equipment proves durable, then you can purchase it.
