Safety Feature: Powered Industrial Truck Safety

Is your forklift driver training up to date?

OSHA advises "There are many types of powered industrial trucks. Each type presents different operating hazards. For example, a sit-down, counterbalanced high-lift rider truck is more likely than a motorized hand truck to be involved in a falling load accident because the sit-down rider truck can lift a load much higher than a hand truck. Workplace type and conditions are also factors in hazards commonly associated with powered industrial trucks. For example, retail establishments often face greater challenges than other work sites in maintaining pedestrian safety. Beyond that, many workers can also be injured when (1) lift trucks are inadvertently driven off loading docks; (2) lifts fall between docks and an unsecured trailer; (3) they are struck by a lift truck; or (4) they fall while on elevated pallets and tines."

1. Classroom training

2. Driver instruction and evaluation on your fleet of lift trucks

We determined many years ago to be committed to supply rental equipment to our customers. Some types of equipment suit our customers better than others.

We constantly monitor our rental usage to ensure we have the type of equipment renters want. We have built a fleet or all five classes of lift trucks, scrubbers and sweepers, personnel burden carriers, and scissor lifts from small units to the high capacity forklifts up to 26,500 lbs. capacity.

We have supplied Yale Industrial Trucks for 80 years because we realize the importance of having a supplier who is committed to manufacturing rental trucks that our the highest quality so our rental customer do not have to worry about poor performing rentals.

We inspect our units when they are returned from rent and inspect them again before they go out on rent. We have three locations so your next rental unit is never far away from your plant or warehouse.
