Parts Feature: Remanufactured, Repaired Parts
Remanufactured Part - Repaired Part, is there a difference?
Many people interchange the words remanufactured and repair yet there are major differences between the two. At a time when customers are looking to cut costs, Flight Systems Industrial Products offers an economic alternative - remanufacturing. Just ask your E. D. Farrell Service Technician to supply remanufactured parts in lieu of repaired or new parts.
Flight Systems Industrial Products remanufactures controls used on
electric and gas powered vehicles, consisting primarily of forklift, golf cart and aerial lifts. Other platforms include: scrubber-sweepers, scooters, mining cars and electric boats. This is an "all makes, all models" Reman Program.
FSIP is the authorized GE and Curtis Service Center along with being ISO Certified. Many of our industry's leading manufacturers have teamed up with the Service Center to assist in providing high quality remanufactured products and services to their dealers.
They also manufacture conversion kits, test equipment and small run new parts for the GE aftermarket industry, conduct training schools, and produce training and technical materials and literature.
Why specify that we use remanufactured parts for your truck?
1. Both "Remanufactured" and "Repaired" parts will replace broken components
2. Only "Remanufactured" parts offer the following:
a. Replace compromised stressed components
b. Components upgraded to the latest specifications
c. Load tested to measure product quality and ensure the unit is equal to or better than the original
d. Warranty for a period of one year from date of purchase from Flight Systems
OEM approved replacement parts at up to 60% savings over new.
