Parts Feature - LP Gas Tanks & Connections
Does your LP Forklift have the smell of propane? Are you incurring runtime issues due to clogs in your fuel system? Are you getting the best possible performance out of your LP Gas truck?
With the industry wide push for cleaner emissions from LP Gas forklifts, requirements on fuel and the fuel supplying equipment are becoming more and more stringent. There are two common types of LP Gas supplied in the USA. The first being commercial grade, and the second being HD5. The HD5 is what is required for use in forklifts. This fuel is 90% propane and no more than 5% propylene. if you are being supplied the wrong type of fuel, this can quickly lead to more frequent fuel tune ups, engine problems and significant downtime.
Contamination can also come from poor connections and older tanks. If you have a fleet that you maintain older tanks on and are concerned about your forklift performance, call us for replacement tank pricing. We provide both Aluminum and Steel tanks for all forklifts. |

Safety Feature - Fork and Chain Safety
