That's weird... my dog's feet smell like Fritos!

  Have you ever noticed a familiar, yet strangely misplaced odor coming from your dog's feet? Does it smell like... corn chips? You're not imagining it. That oddly familiar smell is pretty normal in many dogs. It's caused by natural bacteria your pet encounters in the water and soil. This bacteria works its way into cracks and crevices of the paw, causing an odor that some may also experience as popcorn-like. Gentle washing can remove the cause of the smell, but if you notice inflammation, redness, or a greasy discharge, it could be a sign of infection that needs medical intervention.

Guess Which Hand: Having your pet guess which hand has the treat is great mental stimulation.
Take a Lap: If you take your pet on regular walks, try a new route. It will be fun for both of you.
Stuff a Kong: Stuff a Kong toy with treats and watch them as they tumble it around. For added fun, try peanut butter!
