Cold Feet?
How can I keep my pet from getting snowballs on his feet?

Cabin fever has set in.  Your pet stares longingly out the window, dreaming of afternoons spent chasing squirrels and flushing birds from the yard.  So, you let him outside and laugh as he romps and plays in the fresh powder.  He's having a blast!  When he finally comes in, he's got snow everywhere - even between his toes!

Winter is tough on your dog's feet.  Frostbite is a constant concern in these frigid months.  The pads of their feet can become sore and cracked, making walking painful.

Snow packed feet are just the tip of the iceberg.  Many dogs lick and chew at their feet, which means they can ingest toxins from the ground from anti-freeze and snow melting products.

If your dog is walking around with clumps of snow stuck to his feet, there's something you can do to help.  Bring your pet in and let us shave the hair between the pads of the feet.  This will prevent icy build-up on the feet.  If your pup is on the fuzzy side, we can also neaten up the entire foot so snow has less to hold on to. This only takes a few minutes and can be done while you wait.

Beat the snowshoe effect!  We can trim the nails and neaten the feet for $13.00.  Keep those feet warm and toasty (not to mention snow free) until Spring arrives!

Tear Stains?

We can help!

My beautiful dog gets these reddish tear stains on her face.
Is there anything you can do about them?

Yes, we can.  We have a gentle blueberry scented facial scrub that helps remove the discoloration and staining common to some dogs.  It smells amazing and it really works!
Try it and see for yourself.
Just $3-$7, (depending on the size of the pet).
TIP:  Older plastic guard combs can hang up and snag in the coat. This is caused by a slight groove that develops with prolonged use just ahead of where the feet hook onto the metal blade. Replace guard combs that have these grooves.
