It's hard to believe that Christmas is only a few weeks away. The days before the holiday fill up quickly, so it's best to schedule your appointment now to avoid being put on a waiting list.
Even if your pet just got a haircut, we can freshen up your dog or cat with an inexpensive bath and brush out that will make him look and smell great when family comes to visit. We can even put on a festive bow or bandana of your choice! |

Catnip Tea
2 tablespoons catnip
1 cup water
Put the catnip in a bottle and add water. Shake until catnip tea is green.
Your cat will love this!

Dog Tags Now Available
Paragon now has pet tags! These personalized tags come in three styles: bone, heart, and a large circle for the big dogs!
Even if your pet gets lost, these tags will help your pet get home again. There's plenty of room on them for customized messages - we can even engrave the back for you.
Use them for your pets, your luggage, or even on your key chain! They take us just moments to make and are a steal at just $6.00 each. We can make them while you wait or while your pet gets groomed. Just ask the folks at the counter for more details!

How Often Should My Pet Be Groomed?
 These great questions are asked almost every day: "How long should I wait between grooms?" "Will the shampoo irritate my pet's skin?" "Can I get my pet bathed between hair cuts?" The answers may surprise you.
Years ago, when pets were primarily kept outdoors, grooming wasn't as popular as it is today. Now, our pets are sharing our homes, couches, and even snuggling at the foot of the bed. So how long should you go between grooming appointments? Our rule of thumb is 6 weeks. This helps maintain a nice coat and enables us to keep the nails nice and short. Even if your pet doesn't need a haircut, we can offer bathing services that will eliminate odors and maintain a healthy coat.

Helping Friends in Need
Each year, we invite our guests to donate items toward a pet rescue that needs help. This year, we are collecting items for Kelley's Heart to Heart, a wonderful rescue organization that helps find forever homes for cats and dogs.
We will have a collection container in our lobby for the entire month of December. For each item that you donate, Paragon will give you a Paragon Buck that can be used toward grooming services or purchases.
Here are some items that Kelley's needs:
- cat litter
- kitten food (canned would be great!)
- puppy food
- laundry soap
- kitten formula
- pet toys (new and gently used)
- collars (new and gently used)
- leashes (new and gently used)
- blankets (new and gently used)
- pet treats
