Destination Downtown Event
Wednesday, Jan. 28, 4:30 p.m.

The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, which has shown an ongoing commitment to the health of downtown Loveland, will sponsor a Destination Downtown Loveland event Wednesday afternoon. The free event will start at 4:30 p.m. in the Rialto Theater, 228 E. Fourth St., and be followed at 5:15 p.m. with a reception in the adjacent Rialto Theater Center. Wednesday's gathering will feature local leaders talking about the progress made so far and future opportunities.The Community Foundation is asking people to RSVP at www.NoCoFoundation.org/news or by emailing Lyndsey Hertz, lyndsey@NoCoFoundation.org.

Chamber VIP Event - Loveland Official Valentine Beer Release
Saturday, Jan. 31, 11 a.m.
Loveland Chamber of Commerce members will have the first opportunity to sample The Bleeding Heart, the official Loveland Valentine beer by Grimm Brothers Brewhouse, at the 11 a.m. VIP tasting on Jan 31 at Grimm Brothers. One free taster per member. Grimm Brothers Brewhouse in partnership with the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to invite you to join us for the release of 2015's The Bleeding Heart, a delicious Coconut German Porter! To commemorate this event, bottles and draft will go on sale February 1st and will be available only in Loveland.

2015 Valentine Cards Now on Sale  

The 2015 official Valentine card was revealed last week and is now available for sale online and at participating retailers. Send your love from the nation's Sweetheart City this Valentine's Day and support this historic program through your Loveland Chamber of Commerce. 


 


 

2015 Valentine Re-Mailing Program DEADLINES 

Now is the time to send your valentine through the nation's Largest Valentine Re-Mailing program, produced by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce and Loveland Post Office. International valentines need to be received by Feb. 3, the last day to drop off valentines to any Colorado King Soopers or City Market locations is Feb. 4, national valentines need to be received by Feb. 7 and Colorado valentines need to be received by Feb. 10. 

   
 

Vote YES on Question 1 in February in Support of a Loveland Downtown Development Authority

The Loveland Chamber of Commerce endorses a yes vote on Question 1 in support of a Loveland Downtown Development Authority this February. 

The Vote Yes On Downtown Loveland campaign has officially launched to support this effort. You can learn more about the benefits of a DDA and become a supporter at LovelandDDA.org. Be sure to sign up for a yard sign, send in your letter of support to the Loveland Reporter-Herald and post through social media by liking the Vote Yes campaign page at Facebook.com/LovelandDDA and share your support throughout the community.
 
VOTE NOW for Loveland Business Decorating Contest

Business Decorating Contest The Loveland Chamber of Commerce's 5th Annual Valentine Business Decorating Contest is now open for voting. The 2015 Valentine Business Decorating Contest consists of businesses in Loveland decorating their business inside and outside in Valentine decorations. This opportunity gives businesses an excellent reason to contact their clients and capture the attention of visitors during this busy time in Loveland. Voting runs now through noon on February 10, 2015. VOTE NOW. 

 

Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance (NCLA)
Hickenlooper begins second term with details on agenda
As Governor John Hickenlooper began his second term as Governor last week, he outlined an agenda for more economic growth, investment in Colorado's transportation system, connecting a statewide bike trail system, and recognition of the fiscal policy challenges facing the state during his Inaugural Speech and State of the State address. In this week's NCLA Under the Dome, understand what Governor Hickenlooper has in store for Colorado in 2015 and in his second term. Keep track of introduced legislation and the NCLA's position on bills by linking to our NCLA Legislative Tracking Report. The NCLA Board of Directors engages in legislation that intersects with the NCLA's 2015 Priority Legislative Agenda.

The mission of the Loveland Center for Business Development (LCBD) is to create on-going mentoring relationships with business owners by providing confidential, independent, objective, and impartial business

assessments, based on actual and relevant business experience, available throughout the entire business cycle. The LCBD has some wonderful events coming up.

  • Tuesday, Feb. 17: So You Want to Start a Business, 8:30 - 11:00 a.m., $30
  • Thursday, Feb. 19: Loan Packet Development, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m., $50
