Mo' Betta Gumbo Grand Re-Opening

Join fellow chamber investors and welcome back Mo' Betta Gumbo. Our favorite Cajun eatery has been closed for nearly three months due to major plumbing leaks and renovations, but will be opening on July 16 with a special opening celebration for chamber investors on July 21. See you there!

Business Flood Recovery Grant Update

In September of 2013, the Loveland Chamber of Commerce implemented a Business Recovery Grant fund to assist small businesses who were affected by the flood. An advisory board was established and after four rounds of applications, more than $700,000 was granted to 38 small businesses. The City of Loveland funded the first $550,000 in grants.

Below is a list of the businesses that we assisted:

1st Round: Wynn's Landscaping, Westside Feed LLC, Gunckel Properties, Big T Auto, Mike's Restoration, Mexican Inn

2nd Round: Elkhorn Fly Shop, Fort Namaqua Liquors, 2nd Amendment Guns, Metric Motors, Stans auto, Artisian Hall (formally Suede Event Center), Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch

3rd Round: Master Craft Dental, Ophelia's Kitchen, Dibzee Investments, Family Member Animal Hospital, Buckhorn Heating & Air, Spring 44 Distilling, Sandy's Upholstery, Backbone Special Event Center

OLD FASHIONED CORN ROAST FESTIVAL

2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival Aug. 22-23, 2014

The 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival is slated for Aug. 22-23, 2014. The event includes the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest, and all the roasted and boiled corn you can eat! In addition, people of all ages will enjoy a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are free and open to the public.
