Loveland will be transformed into a sidewalk chalk art gallery during Pastels on 5th, Sat., Sept. 13. Funds are raised through sponsorship of sidewalk squares which are turned into works of art. Local organizations and individuals are invited to sponsor a sidewalk square which will be designed by an artist who donates their time and talent. The sponsor name appears at the top of every sidewalk square and the artwork remains on the sidewalk until it is washed away naturally. The 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival is slated for Aug. 22-23, 2014. The event includes the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest, and all the roasted and boiled corn you can eat! In addition, people of all ages will enjoy a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are free and open to the public. More to come!
