Last Day to Get Your Ballot in for the Hydraulic Fracturing Moratorium

Today, Tues. June 24 is the last day to get your ballot in and VOTE NO on the proposed two-year moratorium banning fracking within city limits. Ballots must be turned in to the city clerk's office at 500 E. 3rd St., Suite 230, no later than 7 p.m. tonight. SAVE THE DATE: 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival Aug. 22-23, 2014

The 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival is slated for Aug. 22-23, 2014. The event includes the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest, and all the roasted and boiled corn you can eat! In addition, people of all ages will enjoy a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are free and open to the public. More to come!
