Last Chance to Nominate a Corn Roast Grand Marshal

The Loveland Chamber of Commerce is still accepting grand marshal nominations for the 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival. Nominees must be long-standing community members who have made a significant impact on Loveland. In addition to leading the Corn Roast parade, the grand marshal also will play a role in a variety of activities throughout the festival. Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. this Fri., June 6. READ MORE... 

 

Call for 2014 Corn Roast Festival Volunteers, Corn Shucking Teams and Parade Entries

  • Sign Up a Corn Shucking Team
    • As one of the most popular events at the annual  Corn Roast Festival, the team slots for the Corn Shucking Contest sell out quickly. Teams with the highest total number of ears of corn shucked in the allotted time will be recognized as first, second and third place winners. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15. Email the chamber to register your corn shucking team HERE.  
  • Submit Your Parade Entry
    • The annual parade allows community-minded businesses, clubs and organizations a chance to participate and gain visibility through this harvest celebration unique to Loveland. First, second and third place titles will be awarded to the entries in each category that best fit the event theme, 'Loveland Strong,' in honor of our community strength after the September 2013 floods.The deadline for submitting applications is 5 p.m., Aug. 8.  Enter your float in the parade HERE. 
  • Volunteers Needed
    • Volunteers are needed for a variety of opportunities at the event. Learn more and sign up to be a volunteer HERE.
OLD FASHIONED CORN ROAST FESTIVAL
SAVE THE DATE: 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival Aug. 22-23, 2014

The 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival is slated for Aug. 22-23, 2014. The event includes the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest, and all the roasted and boiled corn you can eat! In addition, people of all ages will enjoy a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are free and open to the public. More to come!
