2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Vendor Applications are Open

The Loveland Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for the Corn Roast festival. This is one of the largest community festivals held in Loveland and is a great location to showcase your business. Vendors options include: food; kids activities; art and handmade goods; local and national retailers. Price varies on location and the size of vendor space. Junior Leadership Loveland Deadline Extended

The application deadline for Junior Leadership Loveland has been extended to 5 p.m., April 25. Stir Loveland launched Junior Leadership Loveland, a program for Loveland area high school students inspired by the chamber's successful Leadership Loveland program for business professionals.The week long program slated for June 9-13, 2014 is available to high school students between their sophomore and junior year. Applications are available through each Loveland High School, at the chamber and at loveland.org/JuniorLeadership.

OLD FASHIONED CORN ROAST FESTIVAL
SAVE THE DATE: 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival 

The 2014 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival is slated for Aug. 22-23, 2014. The event includes the parade, corn shucking competition, corn eating contest, and all the roasted and boiled corn you can eat! In addition, people of all ages will enjoy a variety of entertainment, great vendors and more. General attendance and all concerts are free and open to the public. More to come!
NORTHERN COLORADO LEGISLATIVE ALLIANCE 

Significant Bills Introduced in Last Two Weeks of Session

The other shoes have dropped. For several months during the 2014 legislative session, business has been lulled into believing we might be spared from several anticipated onerous legislative proposals. This past week, several bills with potential bearing on Colorado's businesses were introduced with only two and half weeks of time left in the 120-day session. 

 

In this week's NCLA Under the Dome, learn more about bills just introduced in which NCLA will engage on northern Colorado business community's behalf.

 

Keep track of introduced legislation and the NCLA's position on bills by linking to NCLA's 2014 Legislative Tracking Report. The NCLA Board of Directors engages in legislation that intersects with the NCLA's 2014 Priority Legislative Agenda.

The mission of the Loveland Center for Business Development (LCBD) is to create on-going mentoring relationships with business owners by providing confidential, independent, objective, and impartial business

Community Marketplace
Sat. April 26, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Whether you are looking to shop locally for a unique item you can't find anywhere else or eat at you favorite food truck/carts, the Community Marketplace is the perfect place. This biannual fundraising event showcases local artisans and vendors giving a venue to sell their merchandise at a reasonable price.
