 Mountain Strong! That is what Colorado is and will continue to be. In the aftermath of the recent flooding that has affected Northern Colorado and our precious Loveland community, the city of Loveland staff and council, chamber board and staff, our ambassadors and many of our investors, as well as countless volunteers from the community have been working hard to help those in need and begin the slow process of rebuilding. I continue to be drawn to the resilience, generosity and compassion of this community. We still profess that there is no greater place to live, work and raise a family than right here in Northern Colorado. We are working with our partners at the city, county and state to help area businesses and individuals find the resources they need for disaster assistance. We have compiled this information for you below. Please continue to check our website, www.loveland.org as we will have this comprehensive list there as well a way for you to sign up to volunteer. - If you sustained loss or damage, you should immediately register for disaster assistance by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov.
- If you are a displaced homeowner or business in Loveland or surrounding areas, please visit the Northern Colorado 2013 Disaster Assistance Center (DAC) located in Building B at the Rocky Mountain center for Innovation and Technology (Former Agilent campus), 815 14th St. SW.
- If you would like to donate goods or volunteer for the DAC, please take them to Building D at RMCIT, 815 14th St SW.
- If you are a business that has been affected by flooding, find a list of local Business Recovery Centers to gain access to free consulting and business assistance, visit http://www.coloradosbdc.org/consulting/disaster-relief.
- For emergency information on the weather situation, Call (970) 962-2020 and use 1610 AM radio for updates.
- For small businesses affected by the flooding, register your claim with the Small Business Administration, http://www.sba.gov. Important to note: rather you think you need to register or not please begin the process to get your name in the system and this needs to be done within 60 days.

Loveland Chamber Awards Open NOW
The Loveland Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2013 call for Investor Award nominations for outstanding businesses and individuals. Nominations must be received by no later than 5 p.m., Dec. 13. Awards include The Heart Award, Business of the Year, Non-profit of the Year and the Young Professionals Award. Official nomination forms can be found HERE.
2014 Valentine Card/Cachet Contest Now Open
The Loveland Chamber of Commerce's Sweetheart City Valentine Program is now accepting design and verse submissions for both Loveland's 2014 Official Valentine Card and 2014 Official Loveland Valentine cachet. Stir September Mixer: Anthology Bookstore

VOLUNTEER: Loveland Oktoberfest Sept. 21, 2013
Volunteers are needed for a variety of opportunities at the 2013 Loveland Oktoberfest. The community event is slated for Sept. 21, 2013, at Grimm Brothers Brewhouse in Loveland. Volunteer opportunities are open to the community. Volunteers are needed for event set up, token sales, Information Booth staffing, clean up and crowd management, teardown and more.
