Gun Control Debate Overshadows other Statehouse Business
This week, a spirited gun control debate in committee and on the floor of the house overshadowed much of the other business occurring in the statehouse. Expanded protections for discrimination, business personal property tax and procurement reforms were also debated and moved through the legislative process.
In this week's NCLA Under the Dome, we provide an overview of House Bill 1136 expanding discrimination protections, ongoing efforts to address the business personal property tax and the outcome procurement reforms.
