In the News
Following the Archimedes Palimpsest
As you may know, SmallCorp manufactured the enclosures for the Archimedes Palimpsest, which was recently restored by the amazing conservators at the Walters Art Museum. The archival frames hold individual pages and allow for viewing from either side via low-iron anti-reflective glazing.  The exhibit has recently moved to the Huntington Library where it will be on display through June 22d.
Your Camera Phone is Changing the World!
Everyone's on social media, and everyone has a camera phone. What's it mean? Pictures of everything, everywhere, all the time, more people taking them, more people viewing them...Here's an interesting tidbit from the Art Newspaper about how that's impacting museums and the art world
We Spoke Recently...And We're Not Afraid to Do It Again

We spoke at the March 26th meeting of the New England Conservation Association, about dynamic glazing and how it can be used in museum exhibits.  It occurred to us that maybe others could benefit from our acquired expertise. We'd be glad to give you a sales pitch, but maybe we can take it a step further and educate you and your team about subjects you're  curious about.  The mysteries of silica gel and passive humidity control, what makes a display case archival and when is that important...you get the idea. If you think we might be able to help you, your organization, or an independent group you happen to belong to, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're always glad to help.
